Nonetheless, Mr. Wasserman is considering going to court to seek a recount.
“I hate to say it, but I’m beginning to think there’s something fishy going on here,” he said during our interview. “I don’t want to accuse anyone of anything, but I’m not sure that this election was completely fair.”
A spokesperson from the Supreme Leader’s office denied there were any irregularities and issued the following response to our inquiry. “Mr. Wasserman is a big baby. He might want to reconsider his court filing while his head is still attached to his body.”
